Sherrill
Harrigan, owner of Teton Peaks Builders LLC, has over
35 years experience in the construction trades
throughout the Intermountain West. In 1999
Sherrill moved from Big Sky, Montana, to Teton
Valley, Idaho, to build his own log home.
Sherrill's
experience encompasses residential construction
and both interior and exterior restoration and
maintenance of log and wood-sided residential and
commercial structures.
Sherrill began his affiliation with Pioneer Log
Homes of British Columbia in 2002 after being
hired as a consultant on Pioneer's largest project
to date.
Sherrill's belief in the quality of the Red Cedar and excellent
craftsmanship offered by Pioneer Log Homes is
based on his vast experience in restoring older
log homes and lodges throughout the West.
His experience has shown that cedar has an
unusually long life span with a cell degradation
of only 1/4 inch per 100 years.
Aesthetically, the aroma of a cedar home lends a
warm quality to a log home unmatched by that of
pine and fir, is impervious to insects, as well as
providing an R factor three times greater.
